No words ... Nothing is Forgotten

Post by Brian » Tue Feb 15, 2011 3:50 pm

Hi Teachers

I've just added a new comic to my site. It´s by Ryan Andrews and it´s worth checking out just for his beautiful illustrations.

Also - there are no words. No speech balloons, thought balloons, captions, sound effects. The whole story is told only through pictures, which means that ANY level of student can enjoy it.

How can you learn English with a comic that has no words? Well ... I´ve included teaching notes for 9 different classroom activities.

It´s all free, so I hope you enjoy it:

Cheers!

This is brilliant! I'm going to have my students write the story to go with it. The higher-level students always groan when I make them do stuff like this, and they ask if they can do something normal like a cloze exercise.

I love saying "no" to them.
