Need Discussion Topics for speaking- 1 elementary level kid

I desire any recommendations for discussion topics for a 12 yr old intermediate level student. I have a private conversation with him once a week for 50 minutes. I would like to know topics that have worked for other teachers in similar circumstances. Thanks.
