Coin Words

This game works well for those who have a lot of spare change at home. Bring a lot of 100 won coins (or other denominations), and tell the kids you're going to play a game. The object of the game is to say as many words as you can. You can give them a focus - for example only words that start with a certain letter of the alphabet, or a category(fruit, machine, job). Finally you give them a goal - how many words they have to say to win (or it can be a competition - who can do the most) Then you spin the coin on the floor and they say as many words as they can. If they win the competition or achieve the target number of words, they keep the coin.

Hey, sounds fun!

I might try it, actually, as the schoolyear is coming to a close and as there's a demand for games.

Thanks.
