I did a nice activity the other day from the Reward upper int. resource pack. Idioms using words related to music. You are best off checking it out yourself i think.

Hi, I'm the author of a new book that may be a fun activity for you: Off-the-Wall Skits with Phrasal Verbs, JAG Publications (www.jagpublications-esl.com).
It teaches 120 phrasal verbs and gives students lots of oral and written practice with these idioms.
Let me know if you need further info.
