Have you guys checked out the activities in BreakingNewsEnglish.com current events lessons? The creator of the site does a new lesson everyday and provides downloadable files. All I had to do was download and copy. Saved me a lot of time, but even better, my students really responded enthusiastically. There was more material provided than I could ever hope to use in a two hour class and the students LOVED it. The role plays really got them talking. We need more sites like that.

Hi to all members.....
Dave here from the UK. Married to Debbie (Hepplewhite) of the UK Reading Reform Foundation and Debbie Hepplewhite's SyntheticPhonics.com
I suppose I am best described as 'Webmaster' for those sites and for another we have launched Educationalist.org - an educational directory and search engine.
Please feel free to visit any of our sites and contribute to the message boards where literacy and the use of synthetic phonics are discussed in great detail. Debbie and I look forward to contributing to your forums also.
Any other webmasters out there, please feel free to add your site to the educationalist.org directory (its FREE).
