:P Hello, everyone!
I am going to find some interesting short fictions and novles for my students to read online. They are Chinese learners and have learned English for almost six years. I want to recommend some interesting websites for them to choose what they are interested. Can you introduce some?
Thanks a lot!
Mayer

Hi there,

I know some websites which may be helpful for you.

Maybe you can try www.randomhouse.com and www.sparklenotes.com.
Also you can use keywords to search from google.

Dear Liumayer

Sorry to recommend the wrong website. It should be http://www.sparknotes.com/ . Hope you can find something useful.

Since it's Halloween now, I used a couple of short selections from www.snopes.com. They have a variety of topics and a lot of "urban legends". If your Chinese students are anything like the ones I taught in Shanghai last year, the short length of snopes selections will be reassuring to them, and they may be interested in the superstitions and "weird happenings" in general.

Thanks a lot for the link, sbourque! I'd been meaning to hunt down some UL sites since I lost my old Faves list quite a while back, and snopes looks pretty good! :P I reckon you should add this to the AL forum's "Interesting websites" thread...
