If you looking for conversation topics to use in a free conversation class, I have written a book which should interest you.
It contains 44 topics with more than 35 questions relating to each of the topics to help stimulate conversation in your classes.
More importantly, in the introduction of the book there is a simple methodology which will help to control the students (and teachers)who monopolize too much of the conversation time in the class while also giving the opportunity to the shyer or less talkative students in the class to talk. Everyone is given the same opportunity and time to practice their conversation skills.

If you looking for conversation topics to use in a free conversation class ...

Multicultural Holidays are always a great topic for conversations in the classroom, or on-line learning forum. You can talk about how the holidays are celebrated: are there religious ceremonies? do people take time off work? what kind of gifts are given; are there costumes; what kind of food and drink is eaten; are there public celebrations, parades etc.? All make for engaging conversation.

For example, did you know that for Muslims today is Eid-el-fitr, a three day holiday celebrated at the end of the month of Ramadan, a month of fasting?

And, if you want to introduce North American content, you can talk about the American Thanksgiving Holiday which is coming up in a couple of days! Wide range of topics possible here, ranging from eating to shopping!
