activities to teach quantity

Post by Tina23 » Fri Feb 03, 2006 10:02 am

Hi everyone,

I am currently doing my teaching practice as part of a Trinity course.
Just doing my lesson plan and was wondering if anyone has got any activities to teach "quantity" (countable/uncountable nouns, difference between few and a few, little and a little, lots, none, and so on.) The class consists mainly of adults, who came to the UK to work. They are an upper intermediate class with reasonable good command of spoken and written English.

Any ideas, games, materials would be greatly appreciated, as would links to helpful sites.

Thank you very much

Tina :)

Here's a web site that has flash cards/images you can download that go over amounts and containers. He has a crossword and word search but you could use the images to make your own worksheets.

I hope that helps.
