I would like to learn your ideas about how to teach Reduced Relative Clauses using a creative method.

Fluffy - those are some interesting threads. I often have the same battles with JTEs. The well this is how they'll be tested arguement seems inpenetrable.

goksuc - As for activities, what age group are you teaching and are you working on structure or functional use?

www.bogglesworld.com has some great cards you can print out with various forms of relative clauses. These can be used to play a variety of card games. Some represent language chunks not full sentences and place nice focus on the modified noun.
"a basketball player passing a ball"
"icycles hanging from the roof"

There is also an occupations set decribing different people in the community.
"A police officer is someone who protects people."
