English Basketball (No balls. No throwing. Just fun!)

Post by mesmark » Tue Apr 18, 2006 1:38 am

I made this basketball game to bring some of the excitement from the 2006 World Championships to the classroom. (The games will be held in Japan, so there might be more excitement here.)

The game is posted over at www.eslteachertalk.com with a podcast on how to set up and play the game. The downloads are free and there's no registration required.

English Basketball - This interactive conversational game gets the students speaking and excited. Use it to review or practice Q&A, new grammar, reading, or vocabulary. With foul cards and limited 3 pointers, strategy is a big part of why the students are so captivated!

Nice one. Easy and fun. A bit difficult for my Chinese classes of 60-70 but I will give it a go!
Thanks Mesmark.
