Characters/People Polish children can identify with?

Post by laugh2 » Thu May 18, 2006 6:52 am

Hi,
I'm trying to come up with people and characters my Polish children (aged 6 to 9) can identify with, and pretend to be in class. I'd like four 'male' parts and four 'female" and so far, I've got:

For boys: Chuck Norris
Incredible Hulk
Aladdin?

For girls: I am clueless....Pocahontas?

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Disney's always good. Shrek, Donkey, the Cameron Diaz character (sorry, can't recall her name!). Ariel, the Little Mermaid. Cruella de Ville from "101 Dalmations".
Fairy tales--Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty.
And I used to have a Polish cartoon film called "Two Who Stole the Moon", about mischievous twin boys. I think they were based on two real twin boys who are now politicians...Kaczynski?

Are there any popular Polish stories with characters you can use? I don't think that these characters necessarily need to be from American or English stories or celebs.
