I am thinking of ways to stop students eating too much junk food. I plan to ask my student to do a survey on the relations between dieases and junk food. Do you think my idea will work?

I also did practical demonstrations. We got a baby tooth from some of the first graders when they lost their teeth naturally and put those in covered cups of coke along with a plain cup of cup of water for a control. It was frightening to see the baby teeth dissolve so quickly. We also cleaned the toilets in the bathroom with coke and they had never been cleaner. We fed worms different diets and measured their growth. The ones on ground up fresh vegetables did the best. I think anything you do in this area would be beneficial.

Sure and don't forget to show them some pictures of obese teeenagers. It will make them think twice.
Another Forum, that's very helpful...

I wonder how many ELT teachers are also experts in nutrition, but an excellent forum is Jamie Oliver's site and the school dinner's forum.

It has thousands of ideas on the subject....
