Idea for 54 students!

I've got my first official uni class tomorrow evening and I"ve got 54 sophomores. They won't have texts yet, so I was wondering what a good idea to use up 40-60 minutes would be. Something that would get them talking (or trying to) is ideal. I'm thinking their level is about pre-intermediate. thanks for any advice.
