Well I have a major event planned for students where we will go to an area along a river near the school for collecting trash to help make them more aware of the damage it can cause. However for it to go along with English as well as communicate better with the class I need to do some pre-teaching of vocabulary and concepts. Does any one have experience with this or know of a good source for materials?
I will be using other things in class such as photos and realia. What I would like to have are worksheets or something along this line.
Environmental awareness

just a suggestion
i think you can just teach something which may be used by students on the tour.and you can play a short video to arouse students' interest. if you prepare it well beforehand, it could be a good activityl.
worksheets, rhymes, etc.
You didn't mention the age of your students; however, you can find worksheets, rhymes and more on the following websites for little ones as well as young teenagers (some alterations may be needed)
