Comparatives - fun activity

Post by JeremyintheCzechRep » Fri Oct 24, 2008 4:05 pm

Get a number of photos of a well known singer, sports personality that your students will know. Make sure that the person has had a reasonably long career. Hand out pictures to the students who have to decide the correct chronological order of the pictures. I have 9 pictures of David Beckham (excellent as he has had a wonderful variety of hairstyles). Once the students have ordered them (using lots of comparatives) I ask them to turn over the photos. On the back, if they are in the correct order, they read V-I-C-T-O-R-I-A_! Very satisfying for all concerned.
