Good websites for teaching methods etc?

Hi everyone.

I took a celta 2 years ago and have not used it up until now. I've ended up in Guatemala teaching 4 classes a week. I do my best for the students, but badly need a refresh on teaching techniques and methods. My lessons are quite basic and repetitive and I don't remember how to get grammar across or exploit textbook materials very well.

It's pretty difficult to get books over here, so wondering if there are any web resources for planning a good lesson, teaching techniques - eliciting etc, how to teach grammar and everything else

Also your favorites of the many resource sites out there.

Dave's is my favourite.

After you get the practical advice you might want to look into new ideas on how students learn. Chose your favourite university and check out the new courses and follow up on some of the papers that are being written by the professors of that university. Google scholar is a great resource.

Thanks, great resources. I guess what would be most useful at the moment would be a web guide to teaching efl/esl. Does such a thing exist, or are there any decent cheap courses on the web?
