Examples of lessons (e.g., videos, books, websites, etc.)

Post by SaratheSlytherin » Sun May 16, 2010 12:07 am

I'm a newly qualified teacher, and, like all newly qualified teachers, there are areas in which I'm strong, and areas in which I need to improve.

The point of my frustration is how to "connect" all the components of a lesson together. My training I received was great, and my trainers were professional and helpful. However, I realize I need to improve on this.

When I was training I watched other teachers' classes every chance I got and I took notes religiously. However I think that I could benefit from seeing some examples of EFL classes that have this connection. I would like to hear from someone who knows where I can find some. For example, is it possible to find some on YouTube? I have seen some but as a new teacher I can't vouch for the quality 100%.

Thanks if you can help me! Please no rude comments.

Sarah - these are not videos of teaching techniques but podcasts for ESL teachers. They were designed to be useful as advice, ideas and information for new ESL teachers (and old). Basically, designed for you. I hope they're helpful.

Happy teaching,
Mark
