I am a new instructor for an intensive English program at a community college. As part of my responsibilities, I have been put in charge of revamping our program. My charge is to develop new curriculum, find appropriate text books, create student competency standards etc. I would appreciate any help!! Do any of you know if competency standards have already been developed for adults in intensive English programs? I'm wanting goals and objectives for student achievement, such as the student will be able to ..........
