I am doing a ESL website but with no content. I am looking for some ready to use content e.g. grammar exercise, online English course, short articles for teens to read, and a lot of language games. Anyone knows where I can purchase ESL content? Should I approach a publisher? Or does anyone know any ESL website for sale?

Pardon me for asking, but why would you want to do this? It seems if you create your own site, you can link to other sites and create your own material as well. Otherwise why would you make a site?

Thanks for your interest. I want to have my own site, not an amateur one but a professional one. My objective is to start up and run an online language school. That's why I need a lot of ESL content. I can do part of material writing of course and I love to do it. There are many aspects I need to handle and therefore I am thinking any ready to use elearning content in the market for sale. Links to other sites may infringe copyrights of the owners if I intend to use it for commercial purpose.

I've written an e-book of short readings on general knowledge subjects (life in Canada and the US). If you're interested, you can e-mail me for free samples.

I'm also planning to start a free site with daily news articles in basic English, based on wire service content. Teachers (or anyone else) will be able to print copies for their classes or for private use. This is still in negotiations at the moment.

I'm actually doing the same, but on a non-commercial basis. Darn slow programming on your own though, dontcha find?
