Self Access Learning Materials

Post by Adam Simpson » Mon Sep 01, 2003 6:29 pm

For the last two years i've been working in and preparing materials for the Self Access Center of the University Prep School in which i teach. Does anyone else out there work in a Self Access Center, and if so, how do you go about preparing materials for your users?

SAL Materials

Post by adi » Sat Dec 27, 2003 2:07 pm

6 years ago some of my friends and I were roped in by the Divisional Education Dept to carry a 3 day course on setting up a SAL Centre and designing SAL materials for teachers in the Northern Division of Sarawak, Malaysia.

As part of the course, the teachers were required to work in groups and produce some SAL materials. The materials were proof-read by other groups and finally were submitted to us trainers. We proof-read and finally passed them to the Education Department. The Department made copies of all the materials and distributed them to all participating schools.

Maybe you would like to try that?
