Hi, can any body help me with this question:
How to better teach adults pronunciation?
There's
http://www.torono.info/esl with
"...The audio-lingual method (VISIBLE ARTICULATORY MOVEMENTS (VAM)) could help adults gain a quick practical command of a language...".
Does somebody know something about the method?

Whoever wrote the information for that website has poor English. I sure wouldn't trust whatever their pronunciation might be like.

Geez, I didn't say anything about terrorists; just about English. I wouldn't want to learn pronunciation from a website where the people can't write proper English.

Because adults can't hear some of the sounds so that they can't reproduce them. It will be very helpful for them to use visual clues like phonics to recall the correct pronunciation. Plus, phonics has been used by American Children to help them read English words out loud. You can Google on using phonics to teach pronunciation. I am sure that you will get many good information.
