Dear all
Thought I'd pass this on. I was recently referred to English Maze (www.englishmaze.com), an excellent (new?) online environment for ESL learners and teachers.
The site contains a bunch of useful stuff but one resource in particular has been particularly useful for our ESL pron classes: The English Maze 'Accent Room'. It's the only resource I've seen which allows learners to compare different accents (native and non-native speaker) and to practice recognising and comparing them.
Our students loved it. So did most of my colleagues!
