teaching numbers

Post by CincyESL » Wed Nov 14, 2007 4:38 pm

I am looking for suggestions on teaching numbers and time to students with very limited English. They are adults.

Thank you!

For numbers/ counting, you could count everyday items. I'd stick to lower numbers. They probably would have no idea what a lot of larger numbers are. For time, maybe you could talk about when things are done. Lunch at 12, wake up at 6, etc.
