1. Which strategies do you use to involve parents in school activities?
2. How do you communicate student learning problems with parents?
3. How do you communicate student behavior problems with parents?
4. Are parents cooperative when you approach parents with learning and behavioral problems?
5. What role do parents expect the schools to have?

Qs 1-4. Find someone who speeks their language to help keep the parents informed.
Q5. Each family is different. I have some bilingual kids on my list mainly becaule of the family. The mother of one was a student of the child's current teacher, but the child doesn't seem to get the same support at home as other kids, so I have her, her younger brother, and a cousin.
Another mother, who has a talkative son, gave us permission to tape her son's mouth shut. The kids piped up and said that we'd loose our jobs if we did that, so mom said that we could call her, and she'd come to tape his mouth shut.
