I need site traffic! Help me!

I'm a high school ESOL teacher in South Carolina just starting to have my students publish information on my website:

[b]I'm wondering how to get traffic [/b]so that my kids will see that people are reading what they are publishing and will be able to email other students of English to build their English fluency.
