Need some Help Finding easy-toread short text for esl

hello

i really need some help finding some easy-to-read short stories on medieval times for students in grade 8. with the wonderful reform in ou schools, i have students with lower english skills than 4th graders and bilibgual studetns all in the same class. i am looking for text that are not too hard to read but that will also keep the stronger studetns interested. any ideas!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

I don't know about any easy texts for history. Do you have any higher level books in your room for the advanced students to use for reports or extra credit work? That way they can at least have books at their level too.

There may be some titles of interest in the Oxford Bookworms series, amongst the Starters.

Two titles that might work for you are King Arthur and Robin Hood, both of which are in comic strip format.
