EFL schools in Australia

Hi,
I need to know anything about language teaching for foreigners in Brisbane, Australia. I plan to go there for a year in 2010 and would like to work in my profession which is the teacher of English. I need to know any FL organisations that coordinate exams in English something like British Council in Europe. I would like to find something on my own rather than pay Polish companies that sent students to Australia. i tried to work for them but they say that they have their own staff.
