I'm currently tutoring a student who has excellent spoken English, but a very difficult time with reading and writing, almost to the point of not being able to read at all.
Our lessons have been going pretty good, but I'd like to introduce some computer games into the mix when he starts to get bored. Can anyone recommend a good piece of software that I could use on my Macintosh?

I don't know what you are looking for, but there are a lot of different kinds of vocabulary activities (which can also involve spelling) and quizzes on the Internet, which work on any platform. Would you be interested in those, or are you looking for some kind of software you can buy?

Well, I don't have access to the Internet when I'm with this particular student, so software would be good. I'm willing to pay for it, but free stuff is welcome too!
