Experience with Longman's Welcome to English?

Hello everyone,
I'm a teacher in Hong Kong and am currently doing an MA level dissertation on textbook evaluation. I'm wondering if anyone here has used the primary textbook Welcome to English by Longman (1A-1B). If so, what are your thoughts regarding the content and design?
