Hi! I posted a few questions about two days ago.
I'm back to ask some more! :)

Um... okay, here goes.
I shot her a specialty Withering, but she didn't seem to notice.
What is a specialty Withering? Does it mean like I gave her a look?

Also..
I briefly wondered if it was as obvious to Christian as it was to me that I was being whored out.
Does being whored out mean being left out or what?

One last question!
Even though it was a random Thursday night, the velvet rope police were out in full force.
I am assuming that the velvet rope police are those people in front of bars receiving admission and checking the age of those entering. Am I right?

Please take a few minutes and answer my questions if you know what these mean. Thank you!!

You have guessed the meaning of the first and third points as far as I can tell (let's hope I'm not wrong again here!). As for the second, isn't 'to wh*re sb <> out' in your dictionary (of phrasal verbs)? :o (Maybe 'to pimp sb out' is similar?).
