Hi,
The Tapestry series is very boring. The students found it very boring and I found it very boring. I have spoken to other teachers who are using it and they say the same. You might want to look at using Headway or a different book.
Thanks!

Thanks, Jay. It's not often anyone suggests Headway, so I must assume that Tapestry is not that good.

I found Tapestry 2, 3 and 4 to work very well in my conversation classes. Tapestry 1, because of the chapters I was assigned (weather and jobs) stank. This is the speaking and listening series. I haven't used the reading or writing series yet, but I found the reading sections to be interminably long for a conversation class.
