Having just taken the iBT TOEFL in order to understand what I'll be teaching over the next few months/years, I am still unpacking what I've learned.
I encountered some difficulty with the summary questions for the reading. I was asked to select passages from a set of passages that best summarize the reading. However, I wasn't at all sure exactly what was being asked.
A passage was given in the answer box at the top, and the remaining passages were up to me to choose. My question is, do the passages need to be put in correct order, or do they simply need to be the best passages selected in any order.
Can anyone explain this section to me?
