TOEFL workshop

Post by liz » Thu Jun 17, 2004 1:41 pm

I was wondering if anyone can help.......I've got a prepare a workshop on the TOEFL exam and also the changes to train teachers and also the DOS's.
Easy??? The first problem is that I'm English and know very little about the exam, in fact I've never taught it.
Please could I get any information regarding marking (especially the compostions section), teaching strategies, analysis of the skills needed for each section, useful books and internet links, and where to find information about the changes.
This would be much appreciated and I'm very willing to give advice to any teacher on the Cambridge exams.
Thanks

Hi! Have you been to the TOEFL site yet? This is the ONLY place where I have been able to get information on the changes that will be taking place. They have a little flash tutorial on it. If anyone else knows any other resources for the new TOEFL please let us know!
