CELTA course for tutoring esol

Hi
I am interested in tutoring ESOL and will soon start the CELTA course. I was wondering if anyine could advice me if I am making the right choice. I am not so keen to teach classes but assume that I will have to do some of this to get work intially with just the CELTA qualification.
I am looking to go to Japan on the working holiday visa or maybe to Spain. If anybody has experince of these places or somewhere similar i would be very grateful for any advice.
