does delta count as a degree?

Many countries require a degree from a university to get a work visa. Is the diploma from DELTA count?

Jenny, out of interest, do they really like you to think so? Can you elaborate from personal experience? [I'm curious as I've done the CELTA and am now thinking about the DELTA]
