confusion from a semi-beginner?

hi.
so, i was looking online today so i could earn some sort of tefl/tesl/esl certificate.....and man is the internet swamped with stuff like that.
who's good? which direction do i go? i know the best thing would be to go back to UNI and get a 18 course hour certificate, but the organization I will work for is only requiring that I get a certificate and i can do it online....any advice on who's good?
