Global Tesol: Is it legit?

I am interested in obtaining a certification to teach ESL abroad. I am looking for a program that will train, certify and place me in another country. One program I came across is Global TESOL ... I just am not sure if it is reputable or not. I have asked for contacts from the program who are now abroad, and they make excuses. Does anyone have any suggestions or can give me the name of a program in the Chicago area??
