Is this a worthwhile TESL preparation program?

up 300 hours of classroom instruction
50 hours Observation/Practicum
(30 hrs observation/20 hrs practice teaching)
Preparation to be an ESL or LINC Instructor
TESL ONTARIO APPROVED certificate program
$2900 CDN + $450 books and registration fee
From Feb 20/06 until June 2006 / Mon-Fri 9am -1pm
A wide variety of practicum opportunities throughout

Is this course worthwhile?
Too expensive/worth the cost?
Is this certificate (TESL) program enough to teach overseas (e.g. S. Korea or Japan)?
Would this be a good stepping-stone in the direction of pursuing a degree in Education (BEd)?
