I am a new teacher, hoping to come up with some innovative ideas for use of media in the classroom for advanced international students over the summer. My first job!! Tnx. All.

Hello,
definitely go for
www.ted.com. Loads of interesting talks 5-20 minutes in length, English subtitles with the magic ON/OFF button, interactive transcripts into other languages, real English, real people, real problems! Ideal for self study as well.
Martin.

Hi,
www.SSEcoach.com
It's great for advanced students and has Teacher and Learner lessons. I have used it for intermediate level too. It's for English teachers and learners in Korea, but if you are in another country they work to because it's only the vocabulary translations that need to be changed.
Hope it helps!
