Post-war social guidance movies

A lot of the public domain material on U tube and Google video consists of social guidance movies from the 40s, 50s and 60s.
Are you popular?, Cindy goes to a party, Holiday from rules, Social acceptability, What to do on a date, Boys beware, Girls beware, etc. I like to search for the studios too like Coronet, Slave to the man productions, Centron, etc. That usually throws up a few more.
I find them facinating viewing for my own entertainment, but I'd like a few ideas from anyone who has used these in class.
I suppose they would be a good start for a discussion on changing attitudes.
Some of them have genuinely good advice, some are patronising, some are made by people with hidden (or not so hidden) agendas.
