Sepeaking / cnversation materials

Post by Mr_ESL » Sun Dec 17, 2006 1:26 pm

We give a 2 hours class every Tuesday here where it’s all about conversation. It’s not considered to be a regular class where we use books, it’s a class designed to improve the students’ speaking ability. Therefore, I am looking for some speaking materials to use for this class, preferably videos. It doesnt matter if the materials come with a price. Do you guys recommend any material that you think will work for this kind of an activity? The age group is adult and the levels are from beginner – advanced. I would really appreciate your input on this guys. Thanks in advance.

Are these students business people? They might enjoy seeing the DVD of "The Office" (I have the American version, although the British one would be good as well). I also used bits of "In Good Company" when my business English class was working on presentations.
