I have completed extensive research for an on line course as I need to have a certificate to further my career. I have been teaching for 2 years without a certificate and now want to register for an on line course.
Be warned readers! The online courses provided are very diverse and some barely cover the topics that a on site course offers. I have attended an intensive 4 week CELTA so I do have comparative experience of the two most popular types of qualification (TEFL/TESOL and CELTA).
What I would like to discuss is if there are any UK government/British Council recommended on line courses or if there are any of these courses that members have completed and have found jobs resulting from having an online certificate.
I would appreciate your comments. I am due to register by next week so will post further comments on the course.
