hello, thanks for reading. There is a multiple choice question I'm poised between especially two of them I'd be very grateful if you answered me.

"His fictions are sometimes historical, and sometimes, so far as can be discovered, have .............. reference either to time or space
a) little or no
b)more or less

My intuition tells me that 'more or less' usually precedes verbs or (past) participles (third form of the verb), whereas 'little or no' collocates with nouns (and gerunds) - hence Joshua's answer. :)
