Adult ESL texts

Post by Rebecca715 » Tue Nov 08, 2005 12:53 am

Does anybody have any decent textbook suggestions for Adult ESL classes? I am looking for something that's all-inclusive and for beginners to intermediate-levels. So far, I've been looking into LifePrints and a couple of others. I would appreciate any help I could get as I'm pretty new at this.

Thanks,

Rebecca

I like Cutting Edge (Longman) - it has starter to advanced levels, with interesting material, the teacher ressource books are quite good too.

Inside Out (Macmillan) is good, especially with younger adults.

Language to Go (Longman) has short chapters if you need something for a shorter lesson format.

Checkout their websites to have an idea of what they offer.
