Tutoring rate for one-on-one TOEFL, ESL, Personal. Statement

Post by guidoo » Thu Feb 05, 2009 5:56 pm

I would really appreciate any and all advice on a fair, competitive hourly fee for private tutoring. I teach in my apartment in a fully-equipped classroom, am centrally located, and have much education/experience in TOEFL/ESL teaching in commercial and academic settings. Any suggestions, please?
Thanks.

It depends on the country you are teaching in.

Here is one discussion that might help. The rates in Vancouver have gone up to $25 an hour in Vancouver, Canada.
