Teacher Discussion Forums

First of all, I think we need another section in the Teacher Discussion forum for other exams besides TOEFL. A lot of us teach IELTS and FCE, and other exams, and it's difficult to know where to direct our questions.

My question is simple, hopefully someone can offer me some advice. I've been asked to prepare a course for preparation for the FCE exam. It should be 120 hours, over approximately 5 months. We're going to use the book 'Direct to FCE' by Macmillan.

Does anyone have any advice, tips or information on writing this course? It's totally new to me, I haven't even taught FCE and I don't really know where to start.

Hi again, doesn't anyone have anything to share? No-one teaching FCE exam preparation? I'm disappointed, I thought I would get some advice from this forum
