All over the world, it has been accepted that adult learning is important for improvement of socio-economic condition of any nation of present as well as of future.
Adults are themselves very special learners. They already have a level of knowledge which they gain from their day-to-day experiences. They need a special kind of training in terms of learning which must not be confined in the text-based alphabet-oriented learning. They usually have the tendency to correlate the knowledge gained through teaching-learning process with their empirical knowledge. And adult learning must intend to drive learners' approach towards the right direction. They must always be considered as 'special' learners in terms of their age, experience and empirical knowledge level and teaching-learning materials for them should always be prepared accordingly.

Can you be a bit more precise about what you mean by adult special education?
