Hi to all,
I have been trying to make a decision on whether to teach in China or South Korea. It would seem that the companies may look after their staff better in China, while the salaries in South Korea appear to be higher. Does anyone have any suggestions?

People in S.Korea who have taught in China are wistful, nostalgic souls. However, they usually remain in Korea, griping, and counting the cash!
If you don't need the money, choose China every time.

but the standard of living is higher in China. I've been in China for over a year now and love it here. And the fact that a teachers salary is 3-6 times the average salary isn't anything to gripe about.
That said, if you know you're going to come to China eventually, it doesn't hurt to work somewhere else, make a lot of cash, and bring it with you.

They are both the same. No such things as which one looks after you better.

If you want to work as teacher of English in a foreign country, you may choose Shanghai,China. You will like this place if you stay there long. Besides teaching, you may visit various scenic spots during holidays. Shanghai will match New York in the long run in many aspects. You can enjoy all the amenities of modern life.
