Suggestions for Am English Listening Comprehension Materials

I'm teaching a course to a group of military personnel in Europe. The course is for 336 hours and is an intensive 4 1/2-day a week. At the beginning of the course, the majority of the class had either no or a very, very limited knowledge of English. We have been using the New Headway Elementary series.
In the last part of the course, I'd like to concentrate on their listening comprehension ability, especially of American English, because there's a very high probability that they will have more contact with American than British English.
I've cruised the internet but there are too many choices and little idea of the quality of the materials available. Also, much of the material that I have found is directed towards a higher level than this group. However, I can always adapt downward to a certain extent.
This is all the background for the real question, does anyone have any recommendations for American English audio materials that can be used with adult males to increase their comprehension levels. It would also be nice if it weren't the usual materials that have already been covered in the textbook, but that may be asking too much.
I am in the States for the holidays and would like to take something back with me when I return.
