Teaching teachers

Hi guys,

I'm doing an EPIK placement at the moment. Apart from the feeling I've been thrown in at the deepend a bit I'm really loving it. My teachers are kind and generous and its been really fun so far (next week is week 4).

Now one of my teachers has asked me to do an extra class teaching some teachers in the school who are interested in English. I don't know their level but I don't think its high. I'm ok with doing it unpaid as my schedule is a lot less than I have been contracted for so a little extra won't hurt anyone.

Now I wanted to do simple conversation, nice and casual, what did u do this morning, where do you want to go on holiday etc. etc. but I think the teachers are looking for a bit more of actual strucutred lessons, using a text book etc. I'm not too keen on blowing money on books which have no use out my current classroom and I think organising a syllabus for teachers whose ability ranges from total beginner to lower int is a bit hard.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks,

Chris
